Great visit to Lillidorei with the kids to see Santa. The Santa is a good one, that looks awesome and a good Santa voice! Excellent gifts and big shout out to the elves at the entrance who were welcoming and funny with the kids! The whole Christmas setup was awesome, and even better when the tree lights were coming on! The play structure was awesome if a little packed in the climbing towers. Some parents need to get up off their backsides and go in there to help their kids for when they get stuck. Food was decent at the little huts.
Weirdly fun place to walk around and explore. Displays including Fairy house, troll dwelling, and goblin shack. Food court and a MASSIVE kids play park - It's definitely too tight for adults to get around 🤣.. Illuminated for Christmas adding a fun holiday feel to the place. Worth a wander round if you're visiting the gardens..
Excellent value for money as the ticket price includes the castle garden as well. Both were well thought out and immaculately maintained. Such a fun park and we didn’t even have kids with us! Will definitely return with my grandson.
Visited on a rainy Sunday with 2 kids aged 6 & 8. We spent approx 3hours here. Signage is pretty poor from the car park, so we ended up walking a long way to get in! Play structure is great fun. We enjoyed doing the trail and kids loved working out the clues. Disappointed you couldnt go in any of the little houses - some have doorbells and you can look through windows. Staff are friendly and kids enjoyed the games which are scattered throughout the trail. There is absolutely no shelter, so definitely make sure you are all appropriately dressed for the weather! It was tough eating our picnic in the pouring rain! We left the storytelling early as it was just too cold and wet to sit still for so long. Really surprised this area (as well as the food/cafe area) are out in the open without any shelter. The play structure also got a bit slippy (+ muddy!) in the rain. Overall, we had a great day.
Lillidorei was great fun! The play frame is challenging enough for older kids whilst still being accessible for younger ones and the sand pit is clean and good for toddlers. The little houses in the village and the extra activities kept them all busy, and the addition of a tartan loop to your clan ribbon to indicate SEND is a well thought out (though not well advertised) addition.
