Seasonal cakes and drinks served as part of the alpaca walk experience
We really enjoyed walking the alpacas here. It was very calm, slow paced and laid back experience. We were given complimentary drinks and cake at the end too. The kids loved it. The flies sent my son a little insane so we left early, but that didn't detract from our enjoyment. Highly recommended for families.
We took our mum here for her birthday and we all loved it so much 🦙💖 the alpaca are so soft and cute and they are all such characters. Vic the owner was lovely and welcoming and we learnt lots of interesting things about alpacas as we trotted around the beautiful orchard. Followed by some lovely cake and drinks, and there is a little gift shop at the end too with alpaca-made and alpaca themed goodies 🛍️ a lovely morning 😊
Son had his 18th birthday party with his special friends. Had a fabulous time. Met the alpacas, took the boys for a walk. Very friendly and love being fed and necks stroked. Then met the girls and fed them teats Finished with superb fresh fruity scones, jam and clotted cream. Homemade warm apple crumble cake went down well with good selection of hot drinks and cold soft drinks. Vic was a very accommodating host and put out birthday bunting etc and was really good looking after the whole party. All took 2.5 hours and was a great experience
Last month, my friend and I went to Little Orchard Alpacas. I'd booked an Alpacas walk and cream tea for her as a birthday treat and we had THE BEST TIME!! There were a range of ages of people there..couples, friends, people on their own, a hen party, it really is an activity for everyone. My friend said she enjoyed it so much, shes going to book for her and her 7 year old daughter to go later in the Summer. We walked the Alpacas around the grounds for about an hour, starting with meeting the males in the barn and choosing which personalities we best fit...I had Kenny and his little Quincey (who followed his dad in dedication without a lead!) to look after. Vic told us all about the Alpacas, their care, the grounds, as we walked around. The Alpacas were pretty well behaved, although I did get lightly pulled offcourse a couple of times because apples are just too tempting apparently! Haha. We walked past the females and their baby crias in their pens and the males were keen to stop to say hello. We left the males in a gated field up behind the barn and came back down to see the females and their adorable little ones..they were let out of the pen and free to roam as we had our absolutely delicious cream tea, sat in a beautiful setting. Vic is so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The Alpacas were clearly well looked after and loving life!
We visited last week for an evening walk which was lovely in the sun. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves with just Vic and the Alpacas which was lovely. We were blessed with amazing weather which made the experience even better. We enjoyed a hour walk, time in the barn with the alpacas as well as in the fields then enjoyed some downtime with food and a drink enjoying the grounds. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
