Stunning food and service...for my wife who has various allergies....it was THE perfect lunch menu... I didnt even miss not having any meat on the menu... Non alcoholic drinks were refreshing and delicious...thank you.

Supporting the charity is good. However, our visitor experience was not. Very few animals visible was hoping our grandchild would have a good experience but she came away disappointed. No petting animals. Menus in cafe does not have prices listed so we came away.

I visited with my two nieces and unfortunately we were disappointed with the experience. There were very few animals visible during our visit (we saw a duck, two geese and some goats). We also walked into the barn to see the horses and donkeys but were told we shouldn’t be there. The gate was open and there was no visible sign indicating that entry was not allowed, so clearer signage would help avoid confusion. I’m leaving this review in the hope it’s helpful feedback. Ferne is a worthwhile sanctuary with an important mission, but based on our visit the visitor experience could be improved.

Lovely place to spend an hour or so. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and clear map and path to follow. Wheelchair accessible generally. Unfortunately the cafe was closed on the day we visited but this didn't detract from the visit.

What a lovely day out with kids. Plenty of kids bits to do. And jeep them occupied with. Over looking the rolling hill side. Plenty of seating to look and view or picnic areas. Or food from the cafe. Field of animals and smaller pens for rabbits and guinea pigs. Small bird aviary. Along with a few ponds and a stream running along. For the birds and ducks. A good few hours out with the kids. Tractors and a few other items to climb on. Wooden statue's of animals to see in your country walk around the animal sanctuary.
