A great beach with something for every beach lover. There are sections of soft sand and section of rocks and pebbles, so you can choose to just sit and watch the world go buy or hunt for one of the fossils found here. Depending on which way you walk at the entrance there are some small rock pools (although they are a distance).

Easy to park in the new paid car park just off the main road, with longer spaces for motorhomes or horse trailers. Lovely tea room across the road, dog friendly and has toilets. Beach is gorgeous and if the tide's out you get a lovely stretch of sand and can walk for miles and miles. Great spot for fossil hunting. Stay away from the cliffs though, they are unstable particularly after wet weather.

Easy parking, and a wander down the beach, be aware of tide times as the beach has cliffs and you can become trapped, very easily !! I had blue skies, and you are warned about post war munitions that will be on the beach as it was used as a MOD range way back ! A great few hours exploring, look out for fossils too !!

Massive clean dog friendly beach, you can walk into Hornsea from the beach but be careful of the tide. The king Charles cliff top is not recommended as there's not much left of the route due to erosion.
