What an amazing place! I never knew this existing until recently and so glad we found it! Set in beautiful grounds comprising a walled garden, arboretum and woodland walk. The restaurant provides a good selection of food and drink at a reasonable price with seating inside and out. Our main purpose for going was to check the area out ahead of booking Enlightened at Christmas, seeing as we have never visited before - so glad we did! There is an entry fee - check out the website for exact prices, but parking is free! We went on a nice sunny day, but it’s the sort of place that would give a different vibe according to the season I particularly loved the sculptures all around the place and winding path in the walled garden was truly inspired! Would highly recommend!!

Beautiful place especially this time of year; the woodland walks keep you from direct sunlight, and are cooler. The herbaceous bordered gardens are wonderful, and the hall itself is a splendid piece of architecture. A hidden gem definitely worth a visit. Restaurant is lovely too.

What a little gem! Dog friendly, fantastic food onsite from Mrs Salisbury's, spring has truly sprung. Was lovely to see families enjoying the activities too.

Stunning grounds, and wonderful walks in every season. A place to re-set and gather thoughts, take a sketch book for inspiration. Trees, views, sculpture and games for the children. A well earned coffee and cake at the restaurant.

Visited their Enlightened Christmas lights experience the other night and really enjoyed it. The walk is certainly shorter than others we have attended like Hylands Park but this did not take away from our experience. We enjoyed a different walk at a venue we had not visited before and enjoyed a hot chocolate and cake in the cafe afterwards. Some of the lighting effects we saw were different to those we had seen before and the whole set up was nicely done with them making use of the lake views available. We enjoyed our visit here
