A stunning Coastal walk from Croyde to Baggy Point, you can either climb the hill which offers stunning views, or stay low on the Trail for those less able.
Baggy Point is yet another stunning, must visit spot! Just a quick heads up on parking: if you aren't a National Trust member, it is £10 for the car park, but it is completely worth it for the views. What’s great about this place is that you can choose your own pace. You can do a short little stroll, a mid length walk of about a mile, or the longer route that takes you right around the rugged coastline. The views overlooking the beach are absolutely beautiful, and the whole area is just teeming with nature. It’s a spectacular spot and highly recommended!
Amazing place. I really like North Devon. Can't beat this place for its beaches and its natural beauty. Car park near by with toilets and a cafe what more do you want.
We had a lovely walk out to Baggy point with amazing views across to Lundy island and beyond on a clear day. The full circular route is approximately 2.5 miles. The coastal path is quite narrow in places and runs right along the edge of the coastline, which really adds to the experience. There’s also an inland route that still offers beautiful views of both the sea and surrounding countryside. We found the full loop perfectly manageable with children aged 7 and 12. A great walk with a bit of variety and some fantastic scenery.
Was a very nice walk and great views. Only bad thing was once you get close to the top there was so many fly's. But a local said it's not normally like that. Can't wait to go back next year
