Visited late April 26. Amazing to think someone purchased years ago as they were DOWN SIZING! I found the laundry room of great intrest,with staff starting at 4am & reading on the many different was of making starching & how to remove rust from bottom of your iron. Great garden to wander round that was in the process of having new paths played. A great cafe & very informative staff. Upstairs was not open on our visit.

A really nice day out. We managed to view the exhibition on the 2nd floor. A lovely buildings with a lot of history. So many rooms to view!! The walled gardens were lovely to view as well. Volunteers friendly as always and a wide selection available in thr garden shop and on site shop.

I finally found a National Trust venue my parents hadn’t visited!! And what a treat this venue was. The gardens were stunning in April with so many varieties of tulips. It was incredibly peaceful and the house was interesting with lots of volunteers available to share lots of knowledge.

What a lovely place. We visited at Easter so loads of things for the kids to do. Overall grounds were very well looked after and staff very knowledgeable and polite. Definitely worth a visit

Nice house with interesting rooms and a 'Willows' exhibition by Laura Ellen Bacon. Great shop with a good selection and plants. There is a decent sized tearoom with an outdoor seating area. Very dog friendly too. Great way to spend half a day.
