Plenty of activities to do, including a modern gym with lots of gym equipment. The pool is a decent size and the slides are an added bonus if taking kids. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Not wheelchair accessible, the door to the toilets are far too heavy, red pull cords tied up, one of them dosnt even work and staff had no clue, the changing cubicles not enough space to get wheelchair in and close the door, the chair in wheels to get in the pool is very hard to push, there is a lip when getting out the pool which is so difficult to get up on your own, told staff won't help me in and out the pool, I live independently and don't have carers to help and not should I need it, the gym don't have time to scan membership card and get in position to open the door, bosses state that due to being an activity pool they do NOT have to be accessible in 2026.this is a leisure centre owned and ran by North yorkshire council shocking. The staff do what they can to help like opening the toilet doors but unacceptable to need this

Great pool for kids meaning its very popular. Utterly ridiculous in 2026 there is no booking facility. Same problems every weekend - families with young children having to queue for 30 mins or more. Strange that every other leisure centre can manage it. Can only think its run by a Gordon Brittas character utterly resistant to change.

We travel almost an hour to go to Northallerton pool - it's the best around for families! Big Swim sessions are lots of fun, with the wave pool, flume and toddler activity area. Changing facilities are great too, though get busy at peak times.

A nice pool. It’s got fun fountains, slides and a wave machine so certainly makes it more interesting than most of the pools in this area. What I found let it down a bit though was it was very cold, no booking facility so it’s pot luck as to whether you can get in or not, once in queueing for a free cubicle and the floor was extremely dirty which was the biggest issue for me. Dirty, wet and very hairy.
