Brilliant old castle. Easily could spend a couple hours here and they ask for a very reasonable donation. Lovely restoration they've done on the place and great education materials all around. Only trick is finding parking some days. Highly recommend.

Cool castle :], Thought it would be bigger though. Parking isn't very easy to get so be prepared to be doing alot of walking. Entry fee was quite cheap, £4. They have quite a few benches so thats good :3. I do recommend going but just a warning, They allow dog's so if you don't like dogs or don't feel comfortable around them maybe try phoning or messaging to see if there are any days they don't have them.

Beautiful spot, great views and very tranquil. Alas, I didn't get a chance to go inside as I went there a little too early. They open the gates to the castle at 11am. I was very content with a walk around the castle and just enjoying the views. The toilets are just horrid. If you can wait and go somewhere else, I suggest you do.
