I am a member of one of the hockey teams that play here, I haven’t had any issues with any staff until last week. I happened to be dropped off half an hour earlier than usual, I went to walk in only for the woman behind the front desk (I’ve never seen her before she is older with short grey hair) decided yo stop me, she was extremely, extremely rude and very aggressively asked if I was here for the hockey in which I explained yes she then said in a similarly avery aggressive and curt tone ‘well it’s a bit early don’t you think’
I asked quite calmly if she wants me to wait outside somewhat joking but she said I had to so I sat outside for the half hour until the manager walked by and was like why are you outside, I explained what happened. Had this member politely and respectfully told me I had to wait I wouldn’t be complaining it was the way that it was said was beyond unprofessional and is an unacceptable way to talk to anyone let alone in a customer service environment, though I suppose being planet ice you will do nothing to remedy this

Attended for the Sunday of the NIHL final four. When collecting tickets we weren't told some areas and seats had been pre booked for the whole weekend and there was nothing placed on seats to indicate this. This led to us and others being asked to move multiple time as we had sat in a pre booked seat. The rink it's self was hard to move around as the walkway around the rink is very narrow and was always full of people chatting in groups who then blocked off the majority of the space. Both the mens and lady's toilets were very small causing a long line in the entrance area and the sink area was very cramped. The rink was clean and warmer than others ive been too, we loved jumbotron style scoreboard but quite a few of us were thrown by the clock counting up instead of down!. There were a variety of vending machines in the rink as well as a small cafe and bar but we did not use these.

I took my son to his first ice hockey match and we loved it. The arena was big, great food with good prices. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Rental skates were terrible. Awful fit and the blades were blunt. Unable to use them. We've gone elsewhere previously and had no issues with the skates. The ice was decent and facilities ok. Papa John's food was nice but the place was a mess with no effort from the staff to pick up rubbish and wipe the tables.
