me and my family went today and had a wonderful time, a well run family business giving animals a second chance in a beautiful home. All the animals looked happy and the enclosures were reasonably sized. The animals are looked after very well and you can even feed the meerkats for £1. Me and my family had such a lovely time and i recommend Profell Wildlife Park & Sanctuary to everyone. Its suitable for all ages and its such a beautiful Sanctuary. 10/10.

Very disappointing experience today at Porfell Wildlife Sanctuary. Before visiting, we checked the website, which showed the sanctuary as open and stated that there was no need to book. Based on that information, we drove 45 minutes to get there, only to be greeted by a paper sign on the gate saying, "Not open to public today." I called the contact number and was told they had closed due to the weather, which is understandable. However, there was nothing on the website advising visitors to call ahead and check before travelling. During the call, I could hear someone in the background saying, "It says it on Facebook." Not everyone has Facebook, and customers should not be expected to rely on social media for important closure updates. If visitors need to check Facebook before travelling, that should be clearly stated on the main website. Better still, closure information should be updated on the website itself. What was most disappointing was the lack of apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused. We wasted 45 minutes each way, plus fuel costs, and now have a very upset 4-year-old who was looking forward to the visit. Good communication with customers is essential, and unfortunately that was completely lacking today.

Great sanctuary, with lots of love and attention for the animals. We had a great afternoon. Be sure to visit!

My partner and I visited yesterday and absolutely loved every minute of it. The animals are so obviously well cared for and it is lovely to see these animals be given another chance, as many have been rescued or re homed. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals. Couldn’t recommend it more, we will definitely be returning.

A lovely little sanctuary with a mix farm and exotic animals. There are plenty of animals you can feed as well which is good fun. It does look a bit rundown but all the animals seem taken care of.
