This was amazing. On a windy day this sheltered beach is a find. The water is crystal clear and at high tide I can't imagine a better place for a swim.
Excellent, secluded beach. Good parking. The walk is about 15 minutes of stony hill side walk. There was no else when I reached after 5pm.
This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I took a picnic and spent most of the day here. A beautiful spot to meditate, swim, reflect and sunbathe next to crystal clear turquoise water. If you like crowds, tacky tourist shops and food outlets then there’s little for you here.
I was excited to find a very secluded, sheltered and calm bay to swim in until I saw the sign warning me it was a construction zone. I went down to look anyway. Not my idea of a beautiful place to swim. Turned around and went back to Aberadon.
A great starting point for a 5.6mile walk around the coastal path at the point of the llyn peninsula. Sturdy walking boots are recommended. Fantastic views of Bardsey island. Porth Meudwy is the point at which you can get the boat trips out to the island if you don’t fancy the walking.
