Lovely castle and manor House bit of a steep entry, kids loved find the badger game of the English heritage staff

Not able to access tje inner of tje castle still. Only a walk around the perimeter. But such a majestic castle in an unusual place I think outside a housing estate! But once in its grounds you could be in tje middle of Northumberland or Scotland. Beautifully preserved 900 yr old castle.

Prudhoe Castle is worth a visit but be aware that entry into the inner castle is limited to groups. It's, however, a nice walk around the outside of the castle and worth a visit to see its positioning the countryside of Prudhoe.

Amazing place ..lived in the area for 4 years and never visited until today! Will be a regular visitor from now on..lots of history and lovely walk around the castle...

Imposing solitude. The castle is currently free (no entry into the building, just the grounds around it). There is contact information about possibly scheduling tours inside. Dogs are welcome on the grounds. Peaceful.
