Very cool museum with lots of artifacts and things to see. A great place to learn a little bit about the history of Reading. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the scavenger hunt activity for children. You can enjoy the whole museum in about 1-2 hours. The Bayeux Tapestry is the highlight of this museum.

Good place to visit with children. A little something in different categories, archeology, zoology, paintings, sculptures, a room full of biscuits boxes from different times and some old preserved biscuits. Tapestry, but make sure to check the timings for paid tours at Tapestry section otherwise it's free.

Brilliant museum the bayeux tapestry is a must to see soooo good, all the names of the ladies who stitched it, 141 yrs old, just a shame couldn't buy something from the shop relating to the tapestry maybe a book mark, key ring etc
