We only had a flying visit to the beautiful RHS Garden Rosemoor due to the heatwave, as it was becoming a little too hot to keep our dog out for long, but what we saw was absolutely stunning. The gardens were bursting with colour, immaculately maintained, and there seemed to be something beautiful around every corner. We’d have loved more time to explore properly and will definitely return on a cooler day to see everything this wonderful garden has to offer

Lovely RHS garden. Lots to see and do. Gardens are spread far and wide so make sure you have lots of energy. There are also lots of hills and climbs. Definitely recommend

This was my first time at a RHS garden and I wasn’t disappointed! We ate in the cafe and the ham hock sandwich that I had was simply delicious! Everyone enjoyed their food and the child’s picnic was perfect for little tummy’s. The gardens are beautiful, well set out with lots of paths to explore. We spent a good few hours and really enjoyed ourselves. My granddaughter had a lovely time exploring.

Lovely time of year to visit, was lucky to have a sunny, warm day. Walked around for nearly 5 hours taking in all landscaping ideas and planting. Lots of new areas since last visit. Stumpery was awesome, I thought it was one of the best I've seen.

It was our first visit to RHS Rosemoor and I was surprised how popular it was on a weekday during term time. There is a large car park, with disabled parking closer to the entrance. Expect a 10 minute walk otherwise to the entrance. It is flat and pram friendly however. You enter with the gift shop on your right, toilets after paying and then the option of the cafe or restaurant on the patio. There are definitely easier walks to do, we did a slow circular walk around the gardens with plenty of stops to rest on benches. There are mobility scooters to rent if needed. My favourite section was the vegetable garden, which also has a stall with vegetables and an honesty box if you would like to buy some vegetables. There are two kids play areas, a pretty lake and even holiday cottages on site. When we visited it was collaborating with Wind in the Willows and children could follow certain trails around the gardens as well as collect colouring in sheets at the front desk. This was a really lovely day out, I was a little disappointed by the gluten free options in the cafe - I can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat there. There is the usual gf brownie (sigh!) I couldn't see any sandwiches available but there is the option of jacket potatoes with various fillings. This site is very dog friendly with dogs on leads allowed. Check for promotional offers online before visiting as there are tickets for £1 if you are on certain benefits. It was nice to see affordable plants on sale on site in their garden center.
