really wanted to like this bouldering centre, but honestly it was a pretty disappointing experience. The routes felt either way too easy or randomly impossible, with very little in between—like they forgot beginners and intermediates exist. Half the holds were either spinning or absolutely covered in chalk, which made it feel kind of grimy rather than well-used. The layout didn’t help either. It was cramped, and people were constantly walking underneath others climbing, which didn’t feel very safe. Staff didn’t seem that bothered—more interested in chatting than keeping an eye on things or offering help. Also, the music was way too loud and didn’t match the vibe at all. Instead of being motivating, it just made it harder to focus. For the price you pay, I expected something much better maintained and organised. Overall, not somewhere I’d rush back to. There are definitely better climbing spots out there. They were taking ages and not letting us go onto the centre.

Super cool gym, lots to climb for different levels including loads of climbs for beginners, lots of different holds and types of walls including a really long roof which was fun. Really spacious. Has a gym area, a small belay area and a small top-out section.

Absolutely love Flashpoint Swindon. Having visited 40 gyms and my partner 80+ Flashpoint is one of our favourites. It's so spacious and airy and there's a fantastic range of bouldering walls. Lots of interesting routes, lovely staff, great food and drink. The soft play and kids area looks really cool too (shame us big kids can't have a go haha!) Well worth the 1.5 hour drive, just wish you were our local gym. All our friends agree

Great climbing centre. Many varied routes with lots for all abilities. I loved the block you could stand on. There is also a clip and climb and Ninja area. There are changing rooms. The 45° wall was fab! The car park isn't huge but there was enough room when it wasn't too busy. The upstairs seating area was dirty and hadn't been cleaned. Many tables had drinks spilt all over them.

First time at this centre and it was pretty awesome. They've got a good mix of grades and fun setting. They even have a pseudo lead wall which has a ramp matching it so you can boulder the route and work bits as you need. They also have a nice cafe which does a range of hot food and cake etc.
