We took our little one and they loved the sensory experience. As an adult it was quite sad seeing the animals, some - like the octopus and turtles/sharks/rays and other fish - in such small enclosures. It was noisy and fairly busy once inside but we didn't queue to get in. I don't think I'd go back.

Absolutely amazing experience to have visited the 1st Sealife centre, the glass bottom boat was a bit disappointing as I was expecting more coverage, but it was in a small area but still amazing, the little coffee shop was great although the cafe assistant could have to spoke to me and said she'll be right with me instead of just smiling and making me wait 5mins. Loved the history, the speakers were great in the boat and the feeding time shows. Was an amazing day out. Also definitely advise on getting tickets before hand.

As a Brighton local currently on maternity leave, I bought the annual pass for £32 and it’s such a good deal for the whole year! I’ve already visited a few times with my baby, my antenatal group, friends and my partner, and it’s become one of our favourite places to go during the week. The huge tank is amazing, and we love seeing the turtles and sharks. The lighting throughout is also a really great sensory experience for my baby. What really makes the experience special though is the staff! They’re incredibly knowledgeable and often go out of their way to share little details about the creatures that make the visit so much more interesting!! It’s always really clean, with plenty of baby changing facilities and space for buggy parking. I’ve only visited during weekday daytime hours, but it’s never felt overly busy, just a really nice atmosphere. It’s very pram friendly too. You can walk around with the pram easily, park it up in places, and there are ramps throughout. The café is a great little spot for feeding breaks. They serve Costa coffee and have a few sandwiches and drinks. The gift shop is also lovely, with everything from small affordable souvenirs to bigger gifts. It’s the kind of place you can visit again and again and still notice and learn something new each time.

SEA LIFE in Brighton is a great place to visit, especially with kids. There’s plenty to see, with lots of interesting sea creatures, colourful fish, and interactive displays that keep children engaged and curious. The setting itself is very nice, with the historic building giving the whole experience a unique atmosphere. Walking through the exhibits is enjoyable and easy to follow, making it a relaxed visit for families. It was a bit busy during our visit, but everything was well organised and there was no real waiting, which made the experience smooth and pleasant. Overall, a fun and worthwhile place to spend a few hours.

Great place to visit. Interesting information about marine life. Lots of different species of fish. Saw the turtles being fed. They also had times for stingray feeding. They also have a jungle section with bugs, spiders etc. Fascinating to watch the ants do their daily activities too!
