Interesting Roman History, which includes a site at nearby Wroxham. Charles Darwin information, and, of course the lovely cafe (we had an iced lavendar latte and a honey cinnamon)! Nice little shop, pick up a town map. Worth a visit

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There's a lady at the entrance and explains everything to you, also, there is a very nice coffee if you don't fancy walking around. Although there's lots of steps, there is a lift going up to it. It is a very good place. I'm right in the centre of Shrewsbury

A beautifully well-kept and pretty museum showing the very rich history of the Shrewsbury area and its inhabitants from pre-historic times to now. There's a very nice café and bookshop too. The exhibition is free to visit. I spent a very enjoyable few hours there!
