One of my favourite places to go in Wolverhampton. It is a beautiful building with some really lovely spaces. There are fixed galleries which are free and also some visiting exhibitions some of which have a charge. You ate free to spend as much or as little tine as you like, staff are polite, friendly and well informed. The gallery has a lift as well as stairs, making it accessible for everyone. Families and children are also welcome. There is a well stocked art area for anyone who likes to get 'hands on' during their visit. The coffee shop on site has the most delicious cakes as well as a lunch menu.

The Art Gallery is free to attend and sits within one of the grandest building in Wolverhampton. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and their exhibition’s are varied and vast. I quite enjoy that there’s many artists from Wolverhampton who are featured. They have an Andy Warhol exhibition on at the moment until Oct which does have a paid fee - we didn’t have enough time to look but we will be back definitely. £9 for an adult. The grand staircase was a highlight of mine. The staff are helpful and welcoming. You can definitely spend a couple of hours here and with it being free to attend, I’d recommend that.

A really nice and calm place to visit. Wolverhampton Art Gallery has a relaxing atmosphere and is perfect for spending some quiet time enjoying art.

Had an amazing experience with my 1 year old with their children play area... The ambience was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful, giving us information on activities for family and kids. Loved the experience so much...

Wolverhampton Art Gallery premises are pretty big so I expected to be lost in a sea of colourful knowledge for quite a while. The size was deceptive. I managed to see everything available in less than an hour. Yes, I could have read those little notes they stick in the walls next to the exhibits but that would involve putting on and taking off my glasses multiple times and I'm far too lazy to do that. I was particularly looking forward to the Grayson Perry room but was disappointed 😞 to find it had only two exhibits. They bigged it up, they let me down. The most impressive thing on show, as far as I'm concerned, was the geezer constructed of coat hangers. It's included in the photographs below. I'd like to offer a big thank you to the staff who were all helpful.
