A beautiful art gallery set in Southampton Civic Centre. Lots of famous artists & lots of different art. A must visit for all those who appreciate beautiful things!

Enjoyable experience! Varying pieces in the main hall and the different artist exhibitions were great to walk through. Not busy at all and quiet during the weekend during half term. There's working lifts and the little gift shop was also nice to look through :)

Visited the Southampton City Art Gallery for the first time and was completely blown away. This is an incredible gallery located in the centre of Southampton City Centre. There is a wide range of art from local artists and also world famous artists such as Claude Monet. When I visit there was a fantastic exhibition covering large scale oil painted by Emma Richardson. The gallery is very well curated with lots of descriptions for the artwork to provide more detail. This gallery is definitely a gem within Southampton which I would highly recommend visiting. Bonus is that entrance is free.

Some incredible art from lesser to world famous artists. Child friendly and very helpful staff. Right next to the library so a great day out for families. Not very large so a nice way to spend an hour or so.
