Me and my partner both enjoyed the Lord of the rings exhibit. Could anyone please explain the armadillos in the little house by the door? A pleasant and free addition to our afternoon.
Nice enough to go, small, got Lord of the Rings expo at moment, lovely coffee place, stuff is so very friendly and welcoming
Excellent museum for local history and a wonderful place to visit and dine here. We watched a great band called Last Post. I'd recommend visiting here 😁👍
Free to enter with an indoor kids play area, toilets and cafe. A community museum space celebrates local history in a building with over 100 years of history itself (primarily as a school) and redeveloped and relaunched in 2022. Rotating fine art exhibitions in the main gallery are paired with community work in the display gallery. School groups and one-off events make great use of the collection and classrooms not open to the public every day.
Came here today with my 2 boys (aged 7 and 4) what a wonderful place! And all the staff are SO lovely and helpful. Cafe cake was lush and again staff were very kind. What a little gem this place is!!!!
