Went for an outdoor swim in the lake there. Did 1 mile was in the warm water for around 40 mins and didn't need a wetsuit. The water is calm, there is a lifeguard at all times, you'll need a float and cap to swim. Staff always friendly and good facilities with changing rooms and benches to eat food in afterwards, great spot 👌

We recently held our team away day at Spring Lakes, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. From the initial booking stage, Sarah was fantastic. She took the time to talk us through all of our options, was incredibly helpful throughout the process, and took all the stress out of organising the day. On the day itself, the whole team at Spring Lakes were welcoming, professional, and extremely helpful. The facilities were excellent, very clean, well-maintained, and perfect for our group. Everyone had a great time, and the venue provided a fantastic environment for both team building and relaxation. My wife and I got married in April 2026 and the entire experience of having a reception at spring lakes was 1st class. From our initial enquiry through the website which was informative and clear, through to the day of our wedding, both Sarah and Josh were fantastic! They are both true professionals who were amazing to work with and couldn’t be more helpful and supportive, even with last minute changes to the day. Fantastic team and a fantastic venue for our big day!! Huge Thanks to Sarah and Josh!!!

We booked to do the waterpark which was good fun. Its a shame everything has to be booked seperate though as some of the family couldnt do the inflatables but they couldnt use the beach. The service was very poor unfortunatley. Lots of young people trying to make a few quid which is always great to see but the staff we came across were tending to avoid customers and would prefer to talk to eachother or use their phones. The ones that spoke to you because they had to had no customer service skills whatsever. Overall its a nice place to go for a booked activity but i wouldnt suggest spending too long there either side of the activity because theres nothing really to do.

The beach was amazing clean water was lovely food was actually reasonable price but took very long. The staff ? It must be everyone's first day on the job, no clue at all. The guy in check in was lovely. The life jacket girls ? CLUELESS 0 organisation skills more interested in chatting with their guy colleagues, your at WORK. The cafe staff...how many people does it take to screw in a ligh bulb ? If it is everyones first day on the job fair enough but bank holiday weekend isnt the time. I will definitely go back but will make sure I take my own life jacket and ample food so I dont have to interact with these staff
