⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently hosted our baby shower here for around 50 guests, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, set on a beautiful man-made beach, and it created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Our guests were blown away by the location and couldn’t stop talking about how unique and beautiful it was. A special thank you to Jack, the Wellness Manager, for going above and beyond to make everything seamless. He kindly made the venue available to us well before our event started, giving us plenty of time to decorate and set everything up without feeling rushed. He also arranged chair hire for us at a fantastic discounted price, and when we arrived, all the chairs were ready and the tables had already been set up with table covers, which made the whole process so much easier. The service throughout the event was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating. As our celebration came to an end, they even came over to help us pack everything away, which was such a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. From the breathtaking ambience to the exceptional customer service, every aspect exceeded our expectations. We had a truly memorable day, and our guests absolutely loved the venue. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful location with outstanding hospitality for a special occasion.

Oh I had the best time here. We had the beach from 10am till 5pm, the wellness centre for 1.5 hours and the bbq cabin for 3 hours, 5pm till 8pm. The beach is immaculately clean and we booked before hand and could choose our sun lounger once we got checked in. The beach does not allow music to be played and no food or drink only that is purchased on the site so that was lovely not having any real noise or drunks. The wellness centre is nice, and clean and lots of Wood fired hot tubs to choose from, these are first come first served, and they did get very hot, BUT they were not as clean as I would have liked and this is a bit off-putting. The BBQ hut we had for 3 hours once the lake had closed to general public. The staff lit the BBQ at 4pm so the coals were ready to cook on at 5pm. Everything you need to entertain is available, fridges for food and alcohol, "yes it's allowed in the BBQ hut!.. They provide a little boom box for you to listen to your music and all the cutlery, plates and glasses you need. This was a really lovely end to the day. My absolute favourite thing was the beautiful lake, so clean with the most lovely large fish swimming around you, that you can buy food for. I really loved that. Its a brilliant place to people watch, especially those who are having go at paddle boarding, it can be rather fun to watch. The whole experience it great, so many staff watching over the activities and security too. Well worth a day out. Can't wait to come back.

We enjoyed our paddle boarding tuition with Simon very much. He clearly loves his job, and his enthusiasm for paddle boarding is infectious. Everything was explained very clearly and helpfully. I feel like I’ve found a new hobby after this 90 minute session and can’t wait to get back on the lake! A couple of logistical things would have made our visit even more enjoyable. On arrival, a member of staff directed us to wait in the wrong place, which meant we only just made it to the session on time, despite being asked to arrive early. The “What to bring” information on the website could also be clearer. Sunglasses and hats are listed, but we were advised not to wear them during the session, while towels and swimwear - both essentials - aren’t mentioned.

We stayed for four nights in one of the overwater lodges, and our experience exceeded all expectations. Apart from the spiders we found in the room each day, we had an amazing time. One of the highlights was that you’re now allowed to swim directly from your lodge into the lake, which made our stay even more worthwhile. We had also booked the lake swimming experience at the beach, but it turned out to be unnecessary since we had direct access from our lodge. The kids also loved the aqua par, it was a fantastic addition to the trip and kept them entertained for hours. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

We had the best experience at St Andrew’s lake today! Great staff, fantastic facilities and excellent activities. We loved the Wellness Experience and the Zip line and were really impressed with the all the staff who were really pleasant, cheerful and well trained. It was convenient to be able to take our own paddleboards especially as there was an Inflation Station on site. Food was great too! We’ll be back!
