Visited Sunderland Bowl yesterday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had three games of bowling and we all had a good time. There was a slight hitch with the equipment on our lane but we were moved to a different one and all went smoothly after that. Staff were very helpful from start to finish. Would recommend.

Great place to entertain the kids and adults too. I was there today with my grandson who had very sensitive hearing and the staff were so helpful, moving us upstairs where it was quieter away from the arcade. Friendly and very helpful. Great price too.

Arcade a scam and managers don't care just smile and shrug shoulders when it was pointed out 2p machines flaps were open so no money or prizes won would go to the winner but right back into the machine. It's not the fact of the machine that makes this a low review but the attitude of the manager. Other than that bowling and mini golf are okay. EDIT: since I got this snarkey review from someone who claims to be the "manager" working that shift, looking at your reply shows what kind of establishment you try to run. As I said it's not about the money but the attitude which can be clearly seen as poor. If you were the manager that night why didnt you come over when the kind lady said she was going to ask you? Also things I want going to comment on that happened that I was initially not going to, yous claimed to cater to most allergens I myself have celioac disease and when asked if anything could be made gluten free other than obviously the chips, my answer was no. I personally wouldn't false advertise but, you do you I guess. As for the 2p machine I lost more than 2p but that wasnt my point. I expect like most people to lose on average £10 to them it's part of the fun but when the hatch inside on atleast 5 machines is open and not letting any money or prizes go back into the bowl below is a bit shocking. The time previously I went and bowled on lane 2, on one round the pins went up and never came down, and at a separate time the same day when they came down pins were pushed onto the ally and we had to wait to get it fixed. It was the attitude I received to make the original review, I don't mean it to be petty or mean just so I can help you improve. Looking back on previous low reviews I see you dont take it that well. I'd happily come back it's just you should probably work on your professionalism.
