All in all, it was good fun. I really liked the concept of the boost button, which was a pretty cool feature and added something different to the racing. The track itself was enjoyable, the electric karts were quick, and it was a great activity for a stag weekend. I have given 4 stars because we did have a good time overall, but there were two issues that stopped it from being a perfect 5-star experience. The main issue, and the more frustrating one for our group, was how the yellow flag periods were managed. When the yellow flag came on, everyone was supposed to slow down to walking pace and not overtake. In reality, some drivers carried on too quickly, overtook anyway, or used the yellow flag as an opportunity to close right up to the kart in front so they were immediately on the bumper when it went green again. This made the racing feel unfair and quite frustrating. As the karts are electric, and the speed is clearly controlled in the pit lane, it feels like there may be an opportunity to automatically limit the kart speed during yellow flag periods as well. If the karts were automatically slowed to walking pace when yellow flags are active, it would remove the advantage of ignoring the rules and would also reduce the need for stewards to repeatedly send people into the black flag lane for not slowing down. The frequent yellow flags also had a big impact on the actual racing. I completely understand that yellow flags are necessary when someone spins out or there is an incident, and safety obviously has to come first. However, because yellow flags seemed to happen so often, combined with drivers not slowing properly, we only managed around three completely uninterrupted laps across two 15-minute sessions. That made it difficult to get into a proper rhythm and enjoy the racing as much as we could have. The flag/light system around the track could also be made clearer from a design and accessibility point of view. The lights are visible in most areas, but when you are travelling at speed and only glancing at them briefly, it is not always easy to tell the difference between the signals quickly enough. As someone who is red-green colour blind, I found the change from green to yellow difficult to pick up at a glance. I appreciate that the yellow light flashes while the green light stays solid, but when racing, that difference is not always obvious in the moment. A simple improvement, such as displaying the word “GREEN”, “YELLOW” or “RED” above or within the light box, would make the system clearer, quicker to understand and more accessible for everyone. Overall, it was still an enjoyable experience and I would not want this review to come across as overly negative. The venue, track and karts were good, and we did have fun. With clearer, more accessible flag signals and better control of kart speeds during yellow flag periods, I think this could easily have been a 5-star experience.

I had a great experience at the go-karting venue. The track was well maintained, the karts were in excellent condition, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the session. The overall atmosphere was exciting and enjoyable, making it a fantastic activity for both beginners and experienced drivers. The only downside was that the session felt a little too short. The time went by very quickly, and I would have loved a few more minutes on the track to fully enjoy the experience. Aside from that, everything was excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a fun and memorable go-karting experience.

Really great fun. 2 races for 15 minutes with all the gear included only have to buy a balaclava and gloves. 15 minutes doesn't sound long but it's exhausting 🤣 Lovely air conditioned bar between races and great staff.

Checking in and the safety meeting was smooth process and event was well organised. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our races! Isla and Geneva in the bar were very friendly and helpful. Be warned though karting is quite hard on the back and neck!

We visited here recently as a birthday treat for my son. By and large we all had a great time, despite a couple of issues which I feel could be easily resolved - making it a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Checking in was seamless - the staff were welcoming and friendly. The ladies changing rooms were ok, but two of the three toilets weren’t working - thankfully there were other bathrooms in the building. Free lockers are available in the bar, and I believe also downstairs by the track. The outfits provided weren’t the most flattering or cleanest, but they were comfortable and functional. After changing we were told to wait upstairs in the bar area, but nobody approached us to ask what time we were booked in for. We were waiting for a while with different groups coming in and out of the bar, after a few minutes I asked a team member what was happening and they ushered us in for a safety briefing. I feel if I hadn’t asked we probably would have been overlooked because we weren’t part of a big group. In my opinion it did seem a little chaotic, but we got there in the end. I thought the safety briefing was really good, but unfortunately I feel most of the other people in the room weren’t paying attention (or didn’t care) especially to the warnings about not making contact with other drivers. Eventually we made our way down to the track and got started. I did enjoy the racing, but I didn’t enjoy the mid-life crisis drivers (unsurprisingly all men) believing they were Ayrton Senna and driving aggressively. Some of the younger drivers were also smacking into other drivers (without being penalised). This behaviour ruined the experience for me - but I was pleased that my son (who drives for a living) beat them all and was the champion of our session!
