We were so impressed with our trip to lilidorei and the gardens. The majority of the staff we encountered were very friendly smiley and helpful. The prices very reasonable and the food was lovely. We ate in the pavilion cafe and it was a beautiful lunch. The stone baked pizza was beautiful. The macaroni cheese chips and battered sausage were thoroughly enjoyed by the family and the potion sizes were super. Very clean considering how many people were there (and the constant battle to keep the ducklings outside)! Generally a really lovely day. Thank you Alnwick.

An Absolute Masterpiece! A Must-Visit in Northumberland The Alnwick Garden is an incredible place that offers pure relaxation for both the body and soul. You can easily spend most of the day here just losing yourself in the stunning botany and peaceful atmosphere. What not to miss: The Grand Cascade: The magnificent fountains are the true star of the show. Watching the dancing water jets tumble down the hillside is mesmerizing and incredibly relaxing. The Cherry Orchard & Labyrinth: Swinging on the hidden swings beneath the cherry trees is a magical experience, and the bamboo labyrinth is fantastic fun. The Rose Garden: A beautiful, fragrant paradise filled with stunning colors and varieties. A bit of history: It’s fascinating to know that while the gardens date back to 1750, they actually fell into complete neglect after WWII. The Duchess of Northumberland revived them in the late 1990s, transforming the ruins into the world-class modern wonder we see today (she is also the mastermind behind the famous Poison Garden next door!). Whether you are a nature lover, a history enthusiast, or just looking for a peaceful escape, this place is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Very, very beautiful place to visit. A massive area filled with more flowers species than you could count. The garden is exceptionally clean. I did not see one piece of litter going around the entire garden. Great selection of food, hot, cold and desserts. The poison garden was very interesting as well. The woman giving the tour for it was very informative, enthusiastic and rolled some nice little jokes in there. Everyone should visit this place at least once and should definitely make sure the poison garden is added onto their visit. 🌺 🌹

A fabulous day out, very scenic and beautiful well kept gardens, the numerous water features were very impressive, water was crystal clear in every one. A little disappointed with the poison garden, that was the main reason for the visit, but i expected a lot more, some things were intresting but underwhelming to summarise it, however it didnt spoil the visit, again with the cherry blossoms, we were too late in the year to visit and the trees were bare, but you can only imagine the pure beauty from the 360+ trees with lots of swings placed among them, on a different day when in bloom would be very different, there were also a few little food trucks/huts that were unfortunately closed only open on weekends and school holidays, which again was a little disappointing, but thankfully the weather was very kind to us, and we still had a great day, and definitely would return

Really great day out for the family with plenty to see and do. Parking was easy and cheap just across the road and £3.50 for the day. Alnwick Gardens opened at 10am and the wait was only couple minutes to get scanned in. We walked around the whole place and took in all the different areas. We paid £1 per person for a guided tour of the Poison Garden the staff gave loads of facts and history about the plants in there. It was easy to walk around and plenty of areas to sit and take in the sun.
