Well worth a stroll along the pier, even just for the homemade pie shop.

I just walked down the wonderful pier, to the end, had a sit down and the tunes coming from the speakers, belted out Hotel California, by my fave band Eagles...so that earns it 5⭐️ on it's own! Beautiful views across Llandudno Promenade and across to the park...fabulous! There are very clean toilets, mens on the right and ladies to the left as you look back down the pier.

A lovely walk along here, especially in the morning between 9:00-10:00am. When it is not busy. You can see the jellyfish floating by on a calm day.

I once worked on Llandudno Pier during the school holidays, albeit the ownership has changed a couple of times since then. It was, I think, in 1983 (I was incredibly young at the time!!!). I don't think a lot has changed in this arcade since then, including possibly the manky old carpet which is held together by numerous bits of masking tape. The old machines are obviously long gone and I did notice that the old style gambling machines, one of the mainstays when I was there, have now gone, which is no bad thing. What you have now is mostly 2p pushers, crane grabbers and machines from which you win tickets which you have to take to the other arcade on the pier to exchange for a sweet (if you're lucky enough to win enough tickets that it). The other noticeable change is that a lot of the machines are cashless so you have to buy a card and put money on it use these ones. If, like me, you have no interest in buying a card then you're basically limited to the 2p pushers.

Very nice arcade with loads of grab machines, a few old fashioned fruit machines and some sport games, unfortunately everything takes cash but pays in tickets which you need to exchange for goodies so you get to pay for 2p coins but don't actually win much. Great fun if you have a penny jar at home and the kids want to waste a bit of pocket money. We all did these as kids so let them have some old fashioned memories like we did. Built into a lovely Victorian Gazebo at the end of this lovely pier.
