It's great being back at the 'Sports Centre' again after all these years. The reception and pool staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is as good as I remember it. Busy and quiet times, but that is to be expected at any sports facility. It would be great to see the coloured squares back on the wall again, even if they no longer serve a purpose. Oh!...and the gold running man, get him out of storage... ;-)

The experience was absolutely awful from start to finish. The service was shockingly bad—rude staff who seemed uninterested in helping, long wait times with no explanation, and a complete lack of professionalism. The place itself was filthy, with a disgusting smell lingering in the air and dirty tables that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Nothing was done right, and it felt like nobody cared at all. It was not just disappointing, it was genuinely revolting, and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I had a really frustrating experience with the reception service. My girls were given a time slot for soft play, but there was a misunderstanding — they accidentally went to the playground instead. I was never clearly told by the receptionist that we needed to wait on the ground level, and there was no proper communication about the process. By the time I returned to confirm and pay for our slot (after already being handed the access card), I was told the space had been given to another family. Even though we had a confirmed slot, they refused to let us in and told us we’d have to wait another two hours. The lack of clarity and poor handling of the situation made it feel like we were being blamed for their communication failure. Extremely disappointing service — it felt unfair and unprofessional.

Great little softplay. I have a one year old and a seven year old, they both had a good run about not too big for the little one. You can get a cake / lunch / coffee from the little cafe. I have always found the staff at the leisure centre to be friendly and helpful.
