Today was the first time for the 3 of us which was myself, grandson and my husband, we went swimming 🏊‍♀️ and then soft play, this is an awesome place , highly recommend, the staff are lovely, kind and very helpful the only thing we suggest is have better provision for food for children, for instance sandwiches (not ones to toast ) but otherwise all was awesome 😀 we would have given 10 stars if it was possible 😀

I took my child to a swimming lesson today. I was unable to use a changing rooms after swimming due to people leaving all there cloths in the cubicles instead of a locker. I used one with clothes in as I had no choice however, someone was banging on the door that led to an exchange of words when I opened the cubicle door once I had finished changing my daughter. I pointed out the sign that says "Don't leave clothes in the cubicle or they will be removed". A guy with glasses got involved who I should have punch his glasses into his face. Maybe Lisa the general manager of the centre should adhere to their policy and start removing clothes and this would sort the frustration out and any further incidents.

Quite a nice leisure centre. Please note before reading that I will only be talking about the swimming pool because that’s the only thing I visited. The swimming pool is nice and big, it has a rope so adults can peacefully do some lengths without any inflatable disturbance. If you book an inflatable session it’s very fun and even more fun bringing friends and family. Overall: Would recommend, nice swimming pool, a little bit deep but you know that’s just how swimming pools are. So yeah I would recommend.

I’ve been using the gym for 5 years now, locations works well for me and has been the most convenient option despite some issues. The gym has been renewed, there’s a lot of new equipment and the layout is good - I was looking forward to it. However, some of the most important machines are missing: benchpress, airbike.. But the problem that didn’t change with the renewal is how dirty the gym is. People come and exercise in their shoes from the outside, there are chunks of mud on the floor. I often train in socks for the stability and functionality purposes, and they are filthy after few minutes (I understand they will be dirty in any gym - that’s not a problem, I am totally okay with it, but in this gym it’s another level). The machines are dusty. The mats are so dirty that you need to wipe them before starting to use, because people step on them with their shoes with mud. I like the gym and would love to continue there, but the state of it puts me off. I have no experience in other UK gyms, but in Europe all gyms are being cleaned every day, and people are not allowed inside the gym without changing their shoes. If this thing gets sorted - I would 100% recommend this gym. If not - I myself would consider other gyms, unfortunately. Any gym needs proper cleaning (especially wet) every day to maintain in good condition and bring satisfaction to people who are using it.

I've been a member for a while and I love the classes, the instructors are fantastic and the timings are ideal for those working 9-5! However, I'm a bit disappointed with the recent new refurbishments, especially the removal of popular equipment such as cable machines, mats and Smith machine.
