We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with our 5yo daughter. The visitor centre is very well run, the talks are fun, engaging and educational. The staff are superb. Cafe is excellent value. We saw lots of interesting animals despite it being a very hot day. I would recommend a visit here to anyone. Much better than similar commercial alternatives.

I was driving to work when I saw a group of magpies gathered around another magpie in the road, almost as if they were trying to help their friend. I pulled over and crossed the road to check, and found the injured bird covered in blood. I carefully wrapped him in a towel and called Tiggywinkles. Although there was an automated message due to the early hour, it clearly provided the address and the centre was very easy to find with convenient parking. Sadly, the beautiful magpie passed away during the journey, but the staff were incredibly kind and compassionate when I arrived. They gently took him away and treated the situation with real care and respect. I’m very grateful for the work they do for wildlife and for the support they gave during such a sad moment.

Visited with a friend. Very friendly staff and lovely to walk around even when it’s cold. Saw beautiful birds and hedgehogs among other animals. Unfortunately didn’t get to see all animals as they were hiding but it was still a lovely time. They do a good hot chocolate with a little cute gift shop too! Thank you.

We loved our visit to Tiggywinkles today. It was my mother in law's wish to see a hedgehog for the first time and Lee was super helpful in showing us Orchid the hedgehog. As we travelled from Australia, I emailed with Adam beforehand to make sure we would be able to see what we wanted and he was super helpful, even giving us tips on how to get the train from London. This place is great. Good fascilities too with a little gift shop, some snacks, and toilets.
