This was extremely good. The perfect day activity for us, a family of 5.. we spend time relaxing in the Cafe and loads of time going around the museum and gallery. It suited the kids and adults, kept us all interested and busy. The Cafe was super, a good menu with some wonderful options.

Amazing place, so much history. The information was easily found, the staff very helpful & friendly. Very easy to get round in my mobility scooter. Had a drink from the café sat in the gardens. Beautiful.

Such a beautiful Musuem. We visited as we were staying in Penrith and saw this museum was near by. It was very informative, interactive for the teens & children and overall a fun visit. The house was beautiful and so was the art work. Everything seemed cleaned and well looked after. All staff were extremely friendly, quick to answer any questions and were helpful with out daughters on the Miffy quest. Our only issue is, there was a missing goat, so we couldn't get the scales to balance 😂.

We chose Tullie House as the venue for our small wedding celebration, and it truly turned out to be the best decision we could have made! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and memorable place with a wonderful backdrop for unique retro‑style photos. Our room had private access to the garden, which gave the whole day such a cosy, intimate feeling of hosting our guests in our very own beautiful “castle.” A huge thank you to Annie, our event manager. She was absolutely fantastic — attentive, organised, and genuinely dedicated. She spent so much time with us going through every little detail, helping with supplier contacts, and even assisting with room decorations. Her support made everything run smoothly and allowed us to fully enjoy our day. Thank you, Tullie team!

This place and has such a nice vibe. The people are eeally friendly and welcoming. The interioirs are great, especially with all the new renovations and additions to the Gallery, it is one of the hidden gems tucked away in Carlisle. I got the opportunity to work with the Gallery and Museum over a weekend and it was a brilliant experience. The cafe and other facilities are good. A nice place to come alone, with friends, or with family.
