I train regularly at Victoria Leisure Centre, and I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for Ella. Because of my disability, I need a chair at the poolside to help me get in and out of the water safely. Ella never waits for me to ask. she always prepares it in advance, with a warm smile and a kindness that feels genuinely human. Her support has become a part of my routine, and it makes every visit easier, calmer, and more comfortable. Ella doesn’t just do her job; she cares. And that care means more than she may realise. She is a truly wonderful person and a credit to the centre.

Can be busy a lot of the times but facilities are generally good, if something breaks it’s usually fixed quickly.

My old and dear friend and I came here for a swim. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful with my friend’s multiple disabilities, and while for me it was a one-off visit because I am from another part of the country, she, being local, plans to become a member and return. What would be helpful though is if one could get through to a human on the phone like I can with my local leisure centre, instead of only being able to deal with a robot. What would also be helpful is if the website was better designed for blind people who use a screen reader, like my old and dear friend. These two issues marked them down two stars.

Looks great as a first impression. A very clean place that includes both an adult and a minor swimming pool, gym and sauna. I became a member and I can't wait to try it out. Update: Great place. Gym and pool available.

Great potential, but not very clean. I cannot attend the swimming pool because of the horrible smell and the state of the changing stalls. They need a better cleaning solution because whoever is cleaning is not doing very well. Upstairs is not as bad but often the floor is very dusty so when I doing the exercises class I'm constantly sneezing especially the Abs blast because it involves getting going close to the floor.
