Parking is free and public toilets. Beautiful beaches their is 2.. When you get on the beach turn left which takes you along the sandy beach go over the rocks to second beach or take path which goes though caravans site on to second beach if it is high tide.
Lovely beach, clean and wide open spaces. Car park very handy and just a short walk from the beach.
Beautiful beach not far from the village centre. We visited on Friday afternoon so your experience may vary - but it was so quiet, there were 8 people on the beach total. It's such a nice place to chill and relax. If you're walking there, there is an easy route from the centre along a field with a footpath. There is parking close by if not. Toilets are also close by and are well maintained.
Miles of deserted beach (well, in March, anyway) with a nearby car park. Even space for a motorhome or two. Panoramic views and invigorating walks. Nothing to do for our modern generation of kids (I'm told playing games on the beach doesn't measure up to on-line activities or amusement arcades) but for anyone looking for some tranquility and P&Q, it really is good for mind and body!
Lovely walk from Warkworth dunes car park towards Alnmouth following either the coastal path or along the beach (some rocks) tide depending. With a small climb up off the beach to the cross or take a more gradual approach from th other side.I often enjoy the beach to myself with the dogs overlooking Alnmouth. You can do an extended walk around to Alnmouth itself and stop off for a bite to eat while you are there. Follow @northerndogs on TT for more walk ideas.
