I have never been to a theatre this cosy. I have been to several performances here during my annual visits to Wiltshire, and I am truly amazed each and every visit. It is not just the top notch players and musicians, but also the way the theatere and its magnificant gardens are actually used during the performances. It is genuinly unique, you will not find this anywhere else. Go. It is brilliant! 🤩

What an absolutely amazing theatre! There were 4 in our party including my wife in a wheelchair. We could not have been more welcomed. We ate in the restaurant, the food was excellent with good size portions. We saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Fantastically talented cast, and the sets and the use of limited space made it unforgettable. Beautiful setting. Can't speak highly enough of a magical evening!

We go every year to see the Summer production (always musical theatre). They are always truly outstanding and this year’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang surpassed all expectations. Remarkably creative with the sets and props, superb acting, quirky, funny, we were totally absorbed throughout. If you only see 1 thing all year, try and make it something at The Watermill!

The Watermill Theater is a wonderfully intimate location to watch any performance. Theperformers with their audience interaction is an absolute delight. What was a truly wonderful experience was let down by a very poor meal eaten in the restaurant. Limited choice that when served was lacking in flavour and very dry. Go to the theater but eat elsewhere.

We watched Chitty chitty bang bang it was exceptional and fascinating to see how they would do various things (having seen film so many times) but thoroughly enjoyed it as well worth going. It's the second time we've been to such a brilliant venue. Tears of joy throughout
