It started off so well, been coming to this Gym for about 3 months and was great. I used the sauna and steam room and most of all the gym. Unfortunately stopped using the sauna as people where spitting in the floor, I stopped using that facility, but unfortunately for the past almost 2 months the mens changing rooms are out of order!! I've asked multiple times about when they are reopening, I have no interest in using the communal change rooms as the kids are off and it's always rammed! Showers are a good distance away from the lockers and TBF the shower cubicles are filthy. Unfortunately some staff don't seem care, I spoke to a staff member and their way of resolving the problem was to freeze my membership!! But no idea when till. I also asked if the phones where working and was told yes, Then try picking it up when it rings!!! I got the reply that we are always busy, at 6:30am!!, Unfortunately was the last straw as I live to use the gym, take a shower and go to work. But can't do that, I have to go home and get showered before going to work, so yeah disappointing

Absolutely the worst. This leisure centre are stingy! The pool is freezing! even in cold weather. My kids ended up with a temperature because of the cold pool. Showers are useless, they have purposely got very little cold water coming out. You may as well bring your hose pipe, took me about 20 mins to get the shampoo out. Also I raised this with the life guard and they dismiss you. Will not be coming back here. Stop being stingy and put the temperature properly 👍

I really liked the large indoor pool! It's spacious, the water is at a comfortable temperature, and the cleanliness is excellent. The changing rooms and showers are also in excellent condition. Special thanks to the staff for their politeness and attentiveness. I will definitely come back!

If i could give 0 then I would. Myself, husband and son of 1 year 3 months visited yesterday as our son has shown a keen love for water time. For context; our son was born premature & is immunocomprimised. Upon walking into the centre it is lovely to sight. Staff were helpful & polite. But as soon as we walked into the changing rooms for the swimming pool area? Good grief...you'd have thought it were a public toilets area! The smell or pee & BO was overpowering enough that I immediately felt nauseated. We proceeded to enter the accessible toilets to get changed & we met with dirty or rusted tiles on the floor & a shower that did not even work! After getting changed we entered the children's pool for the family swim session (2pm session). We were met with a decently filled pool with children ranging from ages 0 months to 10 years + children accompanied by adults. Between some children throwing a barbie doll and other toys all over the pool, one child & adult playing with a beach all offering no spacial awareness for others with said ball, our son was almost hit/struck multiple times by playing arms,toys/balls or legs. Even though we confined ourselves to the bottom left area! The 1st lifeguard just stood by without saying a word to these hyperactive kids,the second was a young lady who just looked bored and was eagerly awaiting her shift to end. NONE of whom thought they should intervene or at least say something about safety for others in the pool. The pool tiles were cracked and some areas rusted, hair absolutely everywhere! Our son has come home with a temperature, vomiting & overall ill. While we are not blaming this on the leisure centre, we have reason to believe that the cleanliness of the centre has a part to play in whatever illness he's contracted as he was perfectly fine yesterday morning no issues. Safe to say we will not be returning here unless the reasons above are addressed. £10/£11 for a family session to end in the main person attending to become ill has thus seemed like a waste of money on something else we could have done with him in the city centre.

I’ve had a really good experience at West Bromwich Leisure Centre. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and there’s a great range of equipment in the gym. The swimming pool is a good size and usually well supervised, and the staff are friendly and helpful whenever you need assistance. It can get quite busy during peak times, which sometimes means waiting for machines, but overall it’s a great place to work out and stay active. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a reliable leisure centre.
