I got stuck on the rapids and a man had to help by pulling me free. I'm not skinny or massive, but I got stuck a couple of times. Once in particular near the end, I was caught in a kind of vortex and couldn't get out. There were underwater swirling currents making it difficult to walk or raise my legs above it. Other people, smaller and bigger than me, were flying past, so I dunno why this happened to me. The last time I was here a couple of decades ago I remember the same thing happening to a few of us. Can also bump into people in the water, as everyone moves at a different rate. Think it's best for kids.

Everyone agrees the rapids are the best thing about Center Parcs. So much fun. And even better at night! Just wish they hadn’t removed the coloured ball style lights, and replaced them with bright white LED ones. The coloured lights really added to the atmosphere.

This place is amazing and a great place to relax...bravo 👏 beautiful and you could be anywhere in the world once you arrive ❤️

Great few days at the wild water rapids... fun for all the family regardless of age.. i would highly recommend.. 😎😎

Great to spend a weekend, can get very expensive if you OD on activities. Delivery pizza very poor, wouldn't recommend. Huck's really nice with decent size portions. Don't bother with football pool, overpriced for what it is. Swimming as good as ever, you can certainly spend the full 3 hour timeslot there! Our lodge was looking very tired, but didn't take the shine off our stay. So nice to spend time in a car free environment, so much quieter and friendlier.
