The staff are fantastic here. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. The pool itself is small only 20M but clean and never too busy. The changing rooms are in need of renovation but are still clean and well maintained. £4.40 for a swim, checking timings can sometimes be a pain on the thrive website.

Due to its location, cleanliness, size, and opening times, I will rate it at 4 stars as the operation of the pool times is very limited to gym members and the public. Therefore, it's fairly difficult to use the facility.

After a year in the waiting list I finally got the email that Wolsingham swimming pool was starting lessons!!! Consett swimming pool is much closer to us but might not open again for some time due to the work that needs carrying out to the new pool!! Anyway, four 30 mins lessons on a Saturday morning cost £19. Bargain of the century, imho. You also get unlimited access for your child to general and family swimming sessions, across our ten pools. My daughter loves her lessons. Great place. Lots of parking places and free. Very friendly staff.

All round nice place. Helpful staff, pool a good temp. Not too chlorine-y. Clean changing rooms. Small but perfectly formed! Thinking of making this our Friday night chill place 👍🏊

I haven't used the swimming pool I wait for my grandson to finish his after school activities but the whole sports area is very good
