A decent local facility with a good range of activities and plenty on offer for different ages and fitness levels. It is useful having access to a gym, swimming and other leisure options in one place, and the location makes it a practical choice for people in and around High Wycombe. The main strength is the variety. It works well if you want somewhere that covers general fitness, swimming or family activities without needing to travel far. That said, the experience can feel a bit mixed at times. Some areas could be better organised, and the overall standard can depend on how busy it is and what you are using. It is still a valuable local centre, but there is room for improvement. I would use it again and would recommend it, especially for convenience and range of facilities.

I signed up yesterday with a Woman who was 'not having a good day'. Went in today for a swim. After 30 mins of me trying to explain to the same Woman who signed me up, that I have not been here before and do not know where the pool is, as I have not been shown, she then tells me "it's fully booked now but if I want a tour, I can have one at 09:00"....that was at 06:40. I cannot really comment on the facilities, as I have not seen them but I'm sure there is an easier way to get fit.

Superb spot for a proper swim and workout. The pools are tidy, staff are cheery, and there’s a relaxed atmosphere that makes popping in feel easy rather than a chore. Perfect for a lunchtime reset or a family splash about.

The gym was nice and big but the equipment was not well maintained and the weights were all over the place. The staff there did not seem on top of re-organising the weights. People left their weights on the bars and were quite untidy. I went to re join and the staff were unenthusiastic in obtaining my membership as they did not want to waiver the joining fee, even though I had cancelled as I was unable to use the gym for 3 months, due to oversea commitments. They put the price up pounds as well for 2026....not good value for money. Suggest looking elsewhere for better deal.

I have been a regular user of this gym for a long time, but after a recent experience I feel it is important to highlight a serious concern. On 26/03/2026 at approximately 19:03, while I was still using a running machine, a member of staff switched the machine off without any warning. This caused me to lose balance and I almost fell, which could have resulted in a serious injury. Basic safety practice would require the machine to be allowed to slow down gradually or for the user to be given clear warning, however neither was done in this case. I had already advised staff I only needed one more minute, but this was ignored. What was more concerning was the staff member’s attitude. He appeared more focused on closing and leaving than ensuring member safety. When I raised the issue, the situation became confrontational and I was told it was “50/50”, which I strongly disagree with. This is not about a minor disagreement — this is a health and safety issue. No one should have equipment switched off while still using it. I have raised this formally with management and asked for the matter to be investigated, including reviewing CCTV. I hope this is taken seriously and that steps are put in place to ensure this does not happen again.
