I haven't been going here long, but i really enjoy the place. Daniel the gym coach is lovely, as are the ladies on reception, Nick and co at climbing wall, and both pilates instructors Tracy and Victoria. Plenty of classes for a wide range of people, young and old, and everyone has been welcoming so far. The two instructors from Rockstart were also very encouraging when i became scared and tapped out of the session. The only reason it isnt five stars is because of an experience last Friday; something was burning in the women's room, like an electrical/plastic smell. We went to get someone to check it out and the lifeguard who offered to check it out was very dismissive and he outright said he couldnt smell anything despite four people from both changing rooms all telling him they could smell burning coming from the women's room. The other lady present said he was still being dismissive after I left and she had to keep telling him there was a burning smell. Someone suggested he was high or sleep-deprived because of the way he was acting then and beforehand (which i had also noticed when he was at the lockers before I went into the women's room). Heavy eyes, slow speech, etc, very stoner-like.

I’ve been coming to Wyre Forest Leisure Centre for over 3 years now. I started out just doing the odd Spin class, feeling too nervous to go in to the gym itself. I finally asked my Spin teacher Tracey for some PT sessions in the gym and haven’t looked back since. It’s so friendly here, all the staff and the members make you feel welcome, there’s always someone to ask for help if you are unsure of something. I love the fact that it’s all ages and abilities that come here and there’s something for everyone. Whether you are completely new to a gym/exercise setting or looking to move somewhere new I would highly recommend it here.

Good workout as pay as you go in this gym this morning. Lat pull down zone would benefit from some blinds to diffuse the Intense sunlight. Met a lovely lady in the changing rooms & if all the members are as inspirational I'd definitely consider joining.

Lucy is an absolutely brilliant swimming instructor. She is patient, encouraging, and explains everything in a way that makes learning feel easy and fun. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude really build confidence in the water, and you can see how much she genuinely cares about helping her swimmers improve. Lessons are always well-structured, supportive, and enjoyable. Lucy takes the time to focus on each person’s progress and celebrates every achievement, big or small. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic swimming instructor! My daughter absolutely loves her!

Good gym and a variety of classes, facilities are clean and staff are friendly and professional. The only problem I have with this venue is when doing the aqua classes the sound system is rubbish and has recently just got worse, the staff taking the classes often end up shouting their instructions as the mic systems dont work properly and keep cutting out. It's very annoying.
