About this event
Walk an Alpaca is part of the programme at Walton Hall and Gardens, the free-to-visit Warrington estate with a Children’s Zoo, gardens and playground.
Join Mally, Jim and Topaz on the ever popular alpaca walks around the Cheshire estate. It starts with a brief talk about alpacas, the rangers demonstrate how to catch them, then everyone takes them on a walk around the park with chances for photographs.
What to expect:
- Mornings at 9:30am on selected dates, October to December 2026 (dates in the booking calendar)
- Book for one adult, or one adult and one child aged 8 to 14
- One extra adult per booking may come along to take photographs, but cannot walk an alpaca
- Meet at the Children’s Zoo entrance
- No dogs: alpacas don’t like dogs
- Dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear; some paths may be uneven or muddy
