The changing rooms were five-star—clean, modern, and well maintained. Unfortunately, the pool itself was quite grotty and could definitely do with a better clean. Since many of the Leeds centres have had heat pump systems installed, the boilers seem to break down frequently and often aren't repaired for long periods. That means there are regularly no hot showers, which is really disappointing after a swim or gym session. The overall experience is let down by poor pool maintenance and unreliable hot water.

Used to do swimming here when I was a child, forced by my school. This old woman would not stop hassling me and once clipped me in a harness and dragged me around the pool, only because I was slow and not great at swimming. I do Karate here, very nice place to do it.

I've only visited once with a friend. The gym has a wide variety of equipment, which is of high standards, and it's kept clean and tidy. It's not the largest however, with only one bench press and squat rack. The day pass is significantly cheaper than the day pass at my usual gym.

Do not recommend this place if you are trying to exercise in a positive environment. The younger staff are so kind and respectful. However, the old staff ( don’t know their names ) but they constantly interrupt you mid workout to tell you that you are doing something wrong. They also are extremely rude if you ask to be left alone. The older woman who was working at the till with long black hair was extremely rude and was being very spiteful to customers. Also a woman with grey hair was also very cruel aswell.

Too many people in the gym what ever time you go. People don't clean up or put equipment away after using. The gym is for getting fit, not for sitting on your phone.
