Navigate inflatable obstacles and giant slides across the UK's most exciting aqua park featuring towering water challenges for confident swimmers.

Aqua Park Lakeside is the UK's premier inflatable water obstacle course, offering an exhilarating experience for families and thrill-seekers. Located at Alexandra Lake in the Lakeside Shopping Centre, West Thurrock, the park features the largest collection of bespoke water obstacles, including the Rutland Mammoth—the UK's tallest obstacle with a staggering 5.5-meter drop—alongside other attractions like the Summit slide (3.5m), Flip or Flop diving tower, Blast Bags for launching friends, Full Send giant slide, Monkey Dome, and various other challenging elements. The venue is designed for children aged 6 and above who are confident swimmers capable of swimming 25 meters unaided and meeting a minimum height requirement of 1.20m. Younger children (ages 6-7) require constant 1:1 adult supervision on the park itself, while children aged 8-15 need either shore-based or on-park adult observation. The park operates seasonally from May through September, with extended hours during summer months (7 days from July 8th to September 1st, then weekends only). Online booking is essential for all visits, and participants must complete safety waivers before arrival. The outdoor setting combined with physically demanding obstacles makes this an ideal destination for active families seeking an unforgettable aquatic adventure.

The inflatables were fun, staff and equipment good but the water was disgusting and the equipment was covered in goose/bird poo. The staff said it it cleaned daily but lots had clearly been there for ages/dried on - we were there quite early. The lake water was murky and green and seemed dirty.

This is a great place to visit in the summer. I booked a 2hr slot. My 12 year old daughter and I were exhausted by the end but having had loads of fun swimming in the lake between floats and climbing onto the inflatable slides. 🛝 💧 🏊 I recommend wetsuit hire as well, whilst the outside temperature was 30C, the water was a lot colder.

My teenagers love it here, they always have so much fun on the huge inflatables, from giant slides and obstacle courses to climbing walls and bouncing platforms. The staff are lovely and very helpful. On my last visit, I accidentally overpaid online by ordering too many wetsuits. I contacted them and my refund was processed immediately, that kind of customer service is rare these days. After the children have worn themselves out, we usually grab some lunch and then I enjoy a little retail therapy at Lakeside. A perfect day out for everyone! 💙🤍

The kids had a fantastic time at the Aqua Park Lakeside course! It was exciting, well-run, and kept them active and engaged the whole time. We’ll definitely be coming back
