A wonderful and lovely experience for small and big. Extra special that it was free of charge! Most wonderful people in charge of this place. It's been great!! Very worthwhile.
Don and Sara are absolutely amazing and care about the people that enter. They took their time to explain the history behind the county and were very thorough with their assistance.
A small gem of museum in the heart of Armagh. Very organised with different exhibitions all the time The staff are very friendly and helpful I appreciate the historical information from Don he is a gentleman I would recommend definitely this museum
This is the oldest County Museum in Ireland and in one of the oldest buildings. But, it is very modern and well kept. One of the oldest items in the museum is an ancient pot going back thousands of years. The curator and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. There was a tea and biscuits for the opening of the historic lace exhibit the day we visited. The museum is free of charge and accepts donations. The gift shop is very nice as well.
Great little county museum in Armagh city and beside the Mall. It's got a bit of everything from Neolithic, Viking, local art and costume through the recent centuries. At the moment, there's a small exhibition about the beginning of Partition and the creation of Northern Ireland. The museum is located on two floors, has toilets, a lift and a shop. The staff are pleasant and very knowledgeable. There's plenty of free parking beside the museum.
