Small but perfectly formed. As it is Barbara's original property and it is only small it is all that you can expect. The gardens again are small but beautifully maintained with a good selection of her sculptures displayed. If you enjoy her work it is well worth a visit.

What a stunning place, so peaceful and just beautiful. Some really nice touches there for example a beautiful poem on the inside of the bathroom door! A small place but that’s perfect, beautiful in any weather as long as you wear a coat in the garden if it rains (adds to the ambience) Couldn’t recommend more

Tells the story of an amazing women’s life, but with added emotion of being her house, studio and garden. Beautifully looked after by the Tate helps create an inspiring place for creatives, makers, artists and sculptors. It has certainly left its mark on my creative soul. Buying tickets in advance was useful but not essential. Attentive and professional staff. Lots of information and artefacts to read about and digest. And then there’s the sublime work set in the garden…

Very nice garden, shame about the artwork. Pieces that look so tactile and I'm guessing we're designed so to be, couldn't be fully appreciated, because of the 'Don't Touch' instruction. I would have loved to have stroked the cold stone and felt the smooth curved surfaces. So much can be gained through the sensitivity of our hands. Hepworth couldn't have produced anything without it.

What a Gem? Went to St Ives for the first time and I did not want to miss this amazing opportunity to see the house and studio of Barbara Hepworth. Free for children and £10 or £11 for adults. It is a unique opportunity to see small, and big works in the exact place where the artist intended them and seeing the workshop as the artist left it. My 8 year old also really enjoyed the experience.
