The last time I came here with my child, she was only 1 years old. We visited on Friday and she is now 5. This made for a more exciting trip, and she thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the animals in their habitats. It was great exercise walking up the hills (added bonus this time around - not having to carry a million bags and a pram). Toilet facilities were satisfactory and food and beverage offerings were aptly located, just in time for a thirst quenching drink and ice lolly. The only down side was, the lockers were not that operational...I lost some money and it wouldn't lock for me. Perhaps get new reliable ones? Otherwise, an immensely fun packed day. Thank you Belfast Zoo for a memorable experience. Highly recommend.

Really fantastic zoo with a huge range of animals. It was really quiet pribably as a rainy day in June, so felt like you had the whole zoo to yourself. The Treetops Café does great snacks too!

Was a lovely day out the staff at the park are all friendly and very helpful. The play park was very good also. Didn't seem to be as many exhibitions or animals about on our visit with nthenbird and reptile house being closed and a couple of exhibitions being redone. Irbwas a lovely day and the kiddo enjoyed herself

AMAZING although even in the week it maybe better to have a mode of transport to the top of the mountain the zoo is on but the habitats and enclosures are some of the best I've seen. Our family loved it. Also a thanks to the staff for helping us call a trusted taxi to get to the airport 🙂

Absolutely loved it here. Gutted I’m only here for a holiday and can’t attend this all the time like I would. Was a lovely zoo. The shop was very good too. Got a photo by a photographer and it is amazing. If you have a love for animals you will love it. Animals are taken care of very well too. If they are in their huts you can most likely go in and see them. Love this so much.
