Borth Beach has always held a very special place in my heart. More than 30 years ago, my dad made me a boat out of the sand here, and last year I found myself making the very same thing for my daughter. It was one of those rare moments that makes you realise how special a place truly is, when memories span generations. People often mention the stones, and yes, they are there, but there is also plenty of sand. There is more than enough space for children to dig, build sandcastles, play games and simply enjoy being outdoors. For me, Borth has always been the perfect balance. The sea is close enough that you do not feel like you have to walk for miles to reach the water, making it ideal for those spontaneous paddles or the occasional brave sea swim. What I love most is that Borth has never lost its character. It is not overwhelmed by arcades, amusements or commercial attractions. Instead, it offers something much more valuable: space, fresh air and a chance to slow down. Parking is convenient, beach access is straightforward, and facilities such as public toilets are nearby, making it practical for families as well as visitors of all ages. We visit throughout the year, whatever the weather. On bright summer days the views are stunning, but there is something equally beautiful about watching the waves roll in on a windy autumn afternoon. Even my teenagers, who are usually far too cool for family days out, seem to rediscover a little bit of their childhood here. Borth is more than a beach to me. It is a place of memories, traditions and family moments that continue to be passed from one generation to the next.

Beautiful place, in season or out. Unspoilt, but has adequate facilities, toilets, cafe's etc, all close by.

Brilliant fun and games. Very relaxing too. Kid's enjoyed immensely. No-one wanted to leave. Nice clean beach. Toilets too.

Great little place, coffee shop is well worth a visit, great coffee and tea. Beach does not allow dogs from March to end September. But come 1st October, it's dog heaven. Pebbly and Sandy Beach, we had lovely walks here with the dogs and skimmed stones. Free carpark. Visited a lot as very convenient to Tal-y-bont where we were staying.

We love Borth, wonderful beach to visit always clean and uncrowded. Get there on a good low tide and you will see the submerged forest ancient trees preserved in the sand for the 6000 years.
