can be busy at times but quite quiet at night. really nice to see the sunset from the prom.

Such a beautiful place! Lots of wild life and great for rock pooling. There are a few quaint little stores but the beach is stunning. Half of it is stone and the other half is sand. I would fully recommend visiting this place. The sea was blue!

I had a great day at Aberystwyth and South Beach gave us a quieter view of what the town has to offer. The beach is the normal stony affair with the higher walkway providing a lovely view of the castle, harbour and far out to sea. We were able to get a good coffee and a laugh in the huge deck chair. Parking can be an issue so get in early.

Aberystwyth is a great holiday retreat. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit although it felt too short. Regarding the weather, no two days were the same. It was just like having a changing canvas and added to the pleasure of the visit. There were so many places to visit and I enjoyed some fantastic walks.

It wasn’t busy at all- on a cloudy sunny day. The shapes of the rocks and pebbles (actually looks unreal) If you have a fish tank or small pond- come and grab it for free 😂. Worth visiting- not the best soft sand available but luckily well shaped pebbles and small rocks will actually make you stay and play with them.
