We did the Forsaken room last night, hosted by Elis and had a great time. The room itself was good fun, not too difficult, and Elis was a great host. We will be back for another soon 😊

My sister and I visited on 28/05/26 and it was such a fun experience. We did the Ancient Egyptian room (very difficult, we've done several rooms and this one is fun but tricky, be warned!) The atmosphere and aesthetics were really great, and the room had so many fun and interesting challenges. It has a 35% success rate and we made it out with 3 minutes to spare! HUGE thanks to all the clues and friendly chats from our host (Natalie we think - sorry if that is incorrect!) They were super helpful and very enthusiastic about the spaces. Highly recommend! (Gets very spooky in certain rooms at Halloween apparently, if you like a scare!)

We took part in the Dead End escape room on the 4th April with Lottie as our Game Host. She was brilliant at explaining the room and game to us. Me and husband have done escape rooms before but this was our first one together and we play a lot of horror puzzle games so were determined. Most escape rooms use walkies talkies to communicate with the team for clues and time, but I found the use of a countdown screen that would show clues when needed sooooo much better!! We escaped with 1 second to spare which I think is an achievement in itself! We're coming back on the 25th to do another as we had such a good time!!

We did a last minute booking for Crimson Lake Motel and we had a great time! Our game operator Gemma explained the rules really well (due to 2/4 people in our group having never done an escape room before). The room itself had really well made puzzles and good quality props to really make you feel immersed. Location was also quite ideal, being in the centre and right above Five Guys. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in Chester again!

We had such a good time at Breakout Chester. Honestly one of the best escape rooms I’ve done. We played Captured and the whole experience was really immersive from the start. The atmosphere was tense in a fun way (not cheap jump scare scary) and the puzzles were clever without being frustrating. Elijah, our game host, was brilliant. Really friendly, explained everything clearly, and you could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. We managed to escape with 24:53 left which we were very proud of! If you’re thinking about going, definitely do it. Great for couples or friends and we’ll 100% be back to try another room.
