Good beach. Car Parking by Apps or Card Check tide times as when the tide is in there is no beach to sit on as water comes right up to the seawall.. Good Venus Cafe. My one gripe is to those people who have beach huts along the main esplanade, especially hut 25. Please do not spread out across the esplanade so far that you take up over have the footpath making it difficult for the rest of the beach-goers to pass when there is al ot of two-way foot traffic.

Very nice beach, one kiosk and one cafe, and a place to hire out single/double kayaks and paddle boards however be aware they are per hour which my group didn’t realise. Very enjoyable for rock climbing/rock pooling on either side of the beach

The vaiduct and steam train are very close to the beach, was super quaint when it came around the track.

Lovely beach. Great place to view the steam train passing through the coastal line. Lots of seaweed in water and on beach which can put some people off swimming. 2 x cafe bars and toilets.

A beautiful and peaceful spot that’s perfect for a relaxing day out by the sea. With its wide sandy shoreline, calm waters, and surrounding greenery, it offers a scenic escape that’s especially great for families, couples, or anyone wanting to enjoy some quiet time by the coast. The beach is ideal for paddleboarding, kayaking, and even exploring the rock pools when the tide’s low. There’s a lovely promenade lined with colourful beach huts, and nearby parkland makes it great for picnics or casual games. Facilities are well maintained, with toilets, showers, cafés, and even deckchair and boat hire available during the season. The car park and bike racks are conveniently close, and there’s a gentle slope leading to the beach, although access to the sand itself involves some steps. It’s also worth noting that dogs aren’t allowed on the main beach between May and September, but there is a nearby dog-friendly section. All in all, Broadsands is a charming, clean, and well-equipped beach that’s well worth visiting if you're in the Torbay area.
