Nice pebble beach. There's parking available which is pay and display or you can pay using Ringo. It somehow made more sense to pay twice for one hour (£1.75 x2) via Ringo than once for 2h (£4.55) but in the end it worked for me. There's also an ice cream van right on the car park which although is quite expensive (£3.50 for a single soft serve, £5.00 for a double or for the ice-cream pot seen in my picture) is well appreciated on a very hot day!

Great walk on the beach even though its all pebbles. Stunning views, Castle at the end run by English Heritage was interesting. There's an activity centre though nit used by us but the cafe was, which if you go around the back you can take dogs in.

Absolutely lovely place to visit, sea was so clear. Lovely little cafe and they have an activities centre with rock climbing etc.

Dog ‘friendly’ although our lab wasn’t that keen on all the stones and shingle! Water a little murky and lots of seaweed, but found a great little shack owned by Jon just on the beach before the activity centre where we hired paddle boards for a couple of hours and had a great time!

The views are nice, and it’s a good spot for watching boats or taking some quiet time by the sea. Lepe Beach is just a short drive away, so if you're in the area, it’s worth visiting both beaches in one trip. Overall, Calshot is a simple and peaceful place, best for walking, enjoying the fresh air, and relaxing away from busier tourist spots.
